Her Health First Organization Non-profit Community

Her Health First’s mission is to improve health equity by providing support to pregnant African American women in Sacramento County.

The benefits that we provided to the community continued to expand into much-needed areas. Today, as Her Health First, we offer the Black Mothers United program through a trauma-informed lens which includes education, Pregnancy Coach support, Doula services, Lactation support, and referrals to mental health and other resources.

Needs: $5,000 – Includes infant care items, supplies for support group meetings and quarterly baby showers, bus passes, and advertising/outreach.

Funding: Unrestricted – Infant/maternity care items: hygienic products, feeding supplies, clothing, breastfeeding supplies, furniture, etc.
